BREAKING NEWS: Unfortunate Blow For Volunteers’ Rick Barnes Left Fans Feeling Devastated.

Tennessee native and class of 2027 four-star small forward  has become the newest high school recruit to receive a scholarship offer from the Indiana Hoosiers.

New Indiana assistant coach Rod Clark has built a strong connection with him, having previously recruited him while on staff with the Tennessee Volunteers before joining Darian DeVries’ coaching team in Bloomington.

Jordan, who stands at 6-foot-6, is currently enrolled at Christian Community School in Tennessee after spending this spring homeschooled. He played his sophomore season at Link Academy in Missouri and was previously at Ensworth School in Nashville during his freshman year.

During the spring and summer, Jordan competes with Mokan Elite on the Nike EYBL Circuit, where he is averaging 11.2 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.

He has already earned offers from several programs, including Tennessee, Texas Tech, Arizona State, Memphis, Missouri, and Vanderbilt, among others.

In the fall, 247Sports analyst Travis Branham observed Jordan at the USA Basketball Mini-Camp and noted:“Malachi Jordan, a well-regarded forward in the 2027 class, stood out for his versatility on defense and the glass, while also showing the ability to create his own shot.

He consistently played with energy, finished well at the rim, and flashed shooting potential. Jordan played a key role in helping his team win the championship in the younger age group, highlighted by a powerful alley-oop in a game against an older division.”

According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, Jordan is rated as the No. 17 overall prospect nationally for the 2027 class, ranks 8th among small forwards, and is considered the top recruit in Tennessee.
