Former Oklahoma guard has landed at a new program via the transfer portal—at least for now—in what’s been an eventful offseason for the ex-Sooner.
As reported by Joe Tipton of On3 Sports,he has committed to Vanderbilt, marking a significant addition for head coach Mark Byington. After playing the 2024–25 season at Oklahoma, Miles had previously committed to both Virginia and Texas A&M earlier this offseason.
He most recently joined Texas A&M, viewed as a valuable pickup for new head coach Bucky McMillan. However, after the Aggies added Rylan Griffen from Kansas, Miles re-entered the portal.
Miles began his college career at Troy and High Point but showcased his scoring ability after transferring to the SEC. At Oklahoma, he averaged 9.4 points per game and shot an impressive 43% from beyond the arc.

If Miles follows through and officially joins Vanderbilt, he’s expected to play a major role in Byington’s rotation. The Commodores, coming off their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2017, have been active this offseason, bringing in seven transfers.
Miles is one of five transfers in Byington’s class to earn a 4-star rating from 247 Sports.
