BREAKING: Ravens’ Top Star Agreed To Irresistible Historic $30 Million Contract Offer.

The Baltimore Ravens have been active this offseason, reshaping their roster in hopes of making a return to the Super Bowl. A key figure in that pursuit is star running back and on Wednesday, the team solidified their commitment to him with a record-breaking contract extension.

After hitting free agency last offseason when the Tennessee Titans chose not to re-sign him, he joined the Ravens on a two-year, $16 million deal. He quickly proved his value, delivering one of the best seasons of his career: 325 carries for 1,921 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns, plus 19 receptions for 193 yards and two more scores.

Despite entering his age-31 season, Henry remains among the league’s elite running backs, and Baltimore has rewarded him accordingly with a new two-year, $30 million extension.

“Derrick Henry and the Baltimore Ravens reached agreement today on a two-year, $30 million extension that includes $25 million fully guaranteed over the next two seasons,” reported Adam Schefter of ESPN via X, formerly Twitter. “It is the largest deal in NFL history for a running back over 30 years old,” he added, citing agent Todd France of Athletes First.

While Henry wasn’t ineffective during his 2023 campaign with the Titans—he still rushed for 1,167 yards—it was his lowest output in a full season since 2018, leading some to wonder if he was on the decline. He silenced those doubts emphatically in Baltimore, tying for the league lead in rushing touchdowns, earning his fifth Pro Bowl nod, a spot on the Second Team All-Pro, and placing fourth in Offensive Player of the Year voting.

Originally set to enter the final year of his deal in 2025, Henry is now locked in with the Ravens through the 2027 season. Although age is always a factor at his position, his performance last year showed he still has plenty left, and he’s expected to remain a central figure in Baltimore’s offense as they aim for a championship run.
