The former BYU wide receiver and standout kick returner is projected to contribute immediately in Coral Gables. Pete Nakos of On3 ranks him sixth among the most impactful transfers this cycle, placing him just behind high-profile names such as Nico Iamaleava (UCLA), Joey Aguilar (Tennessee), David Bailey (Texas Tech), Bernard Gooden (LSU), and Maraad Watson (Texas).
At 6-foot-1 and 180 pounds, Marion brings versatility and explosiveness to the Hurricanes’ offense and special teams. Over his college career, he’s accumulated 76 catches for 1,125 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Marion’s flexibility is another asset—he played 144 snaps in the slot and 311 on the outside last season. With several departures in both the receiving corps and return game, his skill set fills multiple needs for Miami. He’s expected to line up alongside CJ Daniels, JoJo Trader, and Malachi Toney, while also teaming up with fellow transfer WR Tony Johnson from Cincinnati, giving quarterback Carson Beck additional firepower in 2025.
Marion is part of a strong incoming group secured by head coach Mario Cristobal through the transfer portal.
