BREAKING: Giants Receive Surprising QB News After Signing Jameis Winston

The New York Giants have been actively engaged in numerous free-agent discussions, particularly concerning the quarterback position. While they have been frequently linked to Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson throughout the offseason, the team recently finalized a deal with a Pro Bowl quarterback. New York signed him, a one-time Pro Bowler, to a two-year contract worth $8 million.

Following the addition of Winston, the Giants also reached an agreement with wide receiver Zach Pascal, who last played for the Arizona Cardinals, according to Jeremy Fowler. Pascal previously spent two seasons with the Cardinals after a year with the Philadelphia Eagles and four seasons with the Indianapolis Colts.

In 2024, Pascal spent the season with the Arizona Cardinals, primarily contributing on special teams. He did not register a single catch that year and recorded just 19 receiving yards in 2023. The veteran wide receiver first gained recognition during his time with the Indianapolis Colts, where he had his best season in 2020, tallying 629 yards and five touchdowns on 44 receptions.

The Giants are pairing Pascal with veteran quarterback Jameis Winston. Last season with the Cleveland Browns, Winston threw for 2,121 yards and 13 touchdowns while completing 61.1% of his passes. Both players aim to help New York rebound from a disappointing 3-14 record last season.
