Georgia football added another big piece to its 2026 recruiting class by flipping a key commitment from a fellow SEC program.
The Bulldogs landed four-star linebacker Shadarius Toodle, who had previously been committed to Auburn, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3:
“BREAKING: Four-Star LB Shadarius Toodle has Flipped from Auburn to Georgia, he tells me for @on3recruits. The 6’3”, 235-pound LB from Mobile, AL had been committed to the Tigers since July 2024.”

Toodle, a standout from Cottage Hill Christian Academy in Mobile, gives Georgia’s defense a significant boost and marks another recruiting setback for Auburn. His flip brings Georgia’s 2026 class to 19 total commitments. The class, ranked No. 6 nationally by On3, now includes one five-star, 13 four-stars, and four three-stars. Meanwhile, Auburn drops to just six commits in the class, including three four-stars.
