When news broke that 4-star Auburn commit would be making an official visit to Georgia, it understandably raised alarms among Tigers fans. Unfortunately for Auburn, that visit to Athens appears to have gone extremely well for the highly-touted linebacker.
Shortly after, On3’s Steve Wiltfong made a prediction that Georgia and head coach Kirby Smart could successfully flip him from Auburn — a major blow to Hugh Freeze’s 2026 recruiting class. With that update, Toodle officially becomes a name to watch on “flip watch.”

Toodle has been committed to Auburn since late July, giving Freeze an early win on the recruiting trail. But other programs have remained aggressive, and Toodle has multiple official visits lined up — including stops at Michigan, Baylor, North Carolina, and Auburn again on June 13.
Now, with Georgia gaining momentum, it’s unclear if Toodle will continue with those visits, especially if Wiltfong’s prediction proves accurate. Landing Toodle would be a significant win for Georgia after recently missing out on 5-star offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell. While Toodle plays a different position, flipping a top player from a major SEC rival could provide Smart a recruiting boost.
Toodle, who holds 34 offers, is ranked as the No. 9 linebacker nationally, the No. 10 player in Alabama, and No. 168 overall in the 2026 class, per the 247Sports Composite.
For the time being, Toodle remains committed to Auburn — but the pressure is mounting, and Freeze may be in a tough spot trying to keep him. Auburn fans may soon need to prepare for the possibility of seeing Toodle in Georgia red and black instead of Tiger orange and blue.
