New Texas A&M head coach Bucky McMillan has been actively reshaping the roster through the transfer portal, but it appears he may be losing a significant addition.
According to Tobias Bass of The Athletic, top guard has filed paperwork requesting a release from his National Letter of Intent to play for the Aggies. Miles, who started 34 games for Oklahoma under Porter Moser last season, has also spent time at Troy and High Point during his collegiate career.
In 2023–24, Miles was the Sooners’ third-leading scorer, averaging 9.4 points per game. The 6-foot-2 Alabama native was especially effective from long range, knocking down 43% of his three-point attempts. Over his career, he’s a 35.3% shooter from beyond the arc.
Miles has averaged 11.6 points per game over his three college stops and is known for his efficiency. He shot an impressive 51.4% from the field last season and holds a career shooting percentage of 49.5%, along with a 77.9% mark from the free-throw line.

Miles was one of eight transfers brought in by McMillan and was considered one of the top additions, earning a 4-star rating from 247Sports—one of just four Aggie transfers to receive that distinction.
If Miles ultimately lands elsewhere—potentially still within the SEC—it would be a significant setback for McMillan as he prepares for his first season in College Station.
