JUST IN: Unfortunate Blow For Virginia Tech As Brent Pry, Dealt Another Devastating News In The Transfer Portal.

The Virginia Tech Hokies are continuing to reshape their roster following spring practices. Over the weekend, redshirt sophomore defensive back entered the NCAA transfer portal.

Standing at 6-foot-1 and weighing 185 pounds, he played in 12 games as a true freshman in 2023, tallying 12 tackles. In 2024, he saw action in four games and made four tackles before using a redshirt year. He is the son of former Hokies cornerback Loren Johnson, a highly respected high school coach at Highland Springs High School in Virginia. Braylon was a key player there, helping the team win a state title in his senior year.
