BREAKING: Highly Touted Star Quarterback Bowe Bentley, Ranked No. 7 At His Position Sends Message On Georgia.

The Georgia Bulldogs have landed just six recruits so far but remain in the running for several top prospects. At the quarterback position, they’re making a strong push to flip former commit Jaden Curtis and are also targeting another highly ranked signal-caller. After a recent unofficial visit to Athens, Georgia is now pursuing Bowe Bentley, a quarterback from Celina (TX), who is ranked No. 7 at his position and No. 76 overall according to On3. Steve Wiltfong reports that Bentley has narrowed his choices down to LSU, Georgia, and Oklahoma.

When asked about what stood out about Georgia, Bentley highlighted, “Coach Bobo showing me their offense, and just being one of the top programs in the SEC. Winning a national championship means a lot to me. I want to win wherever I go.” He also praised Georgia’s defense, saying, “They have one of the best defenses in the nation. It’s a great place to grow and develop.”

Bentley is scheduled to return to Athens for an official visit from June 6-8, the first of three official visits that will also take him to Oklahoma (June 13-15) and LSU (June 20-22). Georgia’s dominant playoff presence and top-ranked defense under Kirby Smart give the Bulldogs a strong case, while Mike Bobo’s offense, which averaged 31.5 points per game last season, adds even more appeal.
