Since his transfer, reports have surfaced about the size of his NIL deal, with some suggesting he’s earning up to $4 million for the season. That figure caught national attention, including a surprised reaction from Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin during a recent appearance on The Pivot podcast.
“Miami gave him $4.3 million?” Kiffin asked in disbelief when the topic came up. “Did they watch his game against us?” he added, referring to the 2024 showdown where Ole Miss defeated Georgia 28-10. In that matchup, Beck went 20-of-31 for just 186 yards, with no touchdowns and one interception. However, it’s worth noting that the year before, in 2023, Beck led Georgia to a dominant 52-17 win over Ole Miss, throwing for 306 yards, two touchdowns, and one pick.

Whether that number seems justified or not is up for debate—but one thing’s clear: Lane Kiffin has made his opinion known. Unfortunately, we won’t get to see a regular-season clash between Ole Miss and Miami this year, but there’s still a chance they could meet in the College Football Playoff.
