The Arkansas Razorbacks are quickly rising among the nation’s elite college basketball programs, now under the leadership of head coach John Calipari. In his debut season with Arkansas, Calipari guided the team to a Sweet 16 appearance, picking up NCAA Tournament wins over Kansas and St. John’s along the way. Following that strong showing, Calipari and his staff shifted their attention to building next season’s roster.
One of their newest additions is a transfer from South Carolina. Pringle, who has also spent time at Alabama and Wofford, is now set to play for one of college basketball’s most respected coaches. After committing to Arkansas, Pringle expressed admiration for Calipari, saying he values the way Calipari stands up for his players.
“This is the best opportunity for me,” Pringle said. “I’ve been searching for a program with a coach who’s family-driven, loyal, and passionate about his players. I want to give everything I’ve got, learn as much as I can, and be surrounded by teammates who are chasing wins and NBA dreams—just like I am.”

Pringle went on to share his thoughts about Arkansas’ roster and the team environment. “Our lineup is shaping up nicely,” he told Paul Biancardi. “We’ve got the talent to win, but our success will depend on how well we gel as a team. It’s all about how the pieces fit together.” Reflecting on his previous experience playing in Fayetteville with Alabama, Pringle added, “That was the first time I ever felt my ears ringing. The fan support here is incredible.”
In his most recent season, Pringle averaged 9.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game. Over the course of his four-year college career, he has recorded averages of 5.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 0.6 assists per game.
