The Auburn cornerback posted practice clips on social media shortly after multiple reports confirmed his portal entry. This marks his second time in the portal—he initially entered last year but ultimately chose to stay at Auburn.
He is aiming for a comeback after suffering an ACL injury during the summer of 2024. He saw limited action in 2023, appearing in four regular-season games and the Music City Bowl, where he recorded two tackles.
A former 4-star recruit from Pebblebrook High School in Mableton, Georgia, Scott was ranked the No. 31 player in Georgia, the No. 33 cornerback, and No. 321 overall in the 2023 class, according to the 247Sports Composite. He received scholarship offers from 39 schools during his recruitment.
Although his exit affects Auburn’s cornerback depth, the Tigers still return starters Kayin Lee and Jay Crawford, and have recently added Raion Strader through the portal.
