With the 2025 NFL Draft fast approaching, Colorado star Travis Hunter is widely projected to be one of the top picks. Known for his rare two-way talent, Hunter made a name for himself by excelling on both sides of the ball—racking up 96 catches for 1,258 yards and 16 total touchdowns on offense, while also delivering 36 tackles, 4 interceptions, and 11 pass breakups on defense. His remarkable all-around performance earned him the 2024 Heisman Trophy.
Heading into the draft, Hunter is currently expected to be selected No. 2 overall, with ESPN’s Adam Schefter reporting that the Cleveland Browns, who watched his recent pro day, were highly impressed by his athleticism and movement.
The big question remains: Will Hunter play primarily at wide receiver or cornerback in the NFL? But according to Hunter himself, he’s not planning to pick just one.

“When people tell me I have to choose one or the other, I just don’t,” Hunter said on NFL Network’s “First Draft.”
“They not in my shoes, and they never have been in my shoes.”
Hunter has made it clear he intends to continue playing both offense and defense at the pro level, regardless of how teams might try to label him.
