BREAKING: Titans’ L’Jarius Sneed Sued For Alleged Involvement In December Shooting Left Whole NFL Community Speechless.

As the Tennessee Titans prepare to make the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft, cornerback L’Jarius Sneed is dealing with serious legal issues this offseason. The 28-year-old is being sued over his alleged role in a shooting that took place in December 2024.

According to a report from Teresa Walker of The Associated Press, Christian Nshimiyimana, the alleged victim, claims Sneed or his personal assistant fired gunshots at him while he was sitting inside a Mercedes-Benz at a dealership. The lawsuit seeks at least $1 million in damages.

The incident reportedly occurred on December 6 in Carrollton, Texas, while Nshimiyimana was inside a G-Wagon on a dealer lot. The shots were allegedly fired from a Lamborghini Urus driving past the dealership, One Legacy Motors. The police report, which contains several redactions, confirms no one was injured.

Nshimiyimana’s attorney, Levi McCathern, said that both Sneed and his assistant were arrested by Carrollton police and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He also claimed that Sneed and a woman believed to be his mother contacted Nshimiyimana afterward, urging him not to talk to police or hire legal representation.

Sneed was traded to the Titans from the Kansas City Chiefs on March 24, 2024. His debut season in Tennessee was cut short due to a quadriceps injury suffered in Week 6 against the Colts, which sidelined him for the rest of the year.
