BREAKING: Titans Get Concerning Cam Ward Update Ahead Of NFL Draft.

Any buzz or controversy around the Tennessee Titans’ No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft has mostly died down in recent weeks. That’s largely because most analysts now expect the team to select Miami quarterback Cam Ward.

Earlier in the draft process, there was uncertainty about whether Ward would be the top choice. That said, the 2025 draft class is considered relatively weak when it comes to quarterbacks. While several teams reportedly view Ward as the top quarterback available, Jeff Duncan of NOLA.com shared that some teams aren’t convinced he’s even worth a first-round pick.

“Spoke to 4 NFL teams in prepping for this column. None of them had a QB other than Cam Ward in their top 30 prospects. Two of them didn’t have a first-round grade on Ward,” Duncan posted on X.
“This is not the year to go QB hunting in the first round.”

Ultimately, Tennessee’s internal assessment of Ward is what matters most. Still, the fact that some teams question his value as a first-rounder might give the Titans something to think about before draft day.
