The Georgia Bulldogs men’s basketball team received some good news from the transfer portal on Friday. According to CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz, the Bulldogs have added former Wofford guard. He is set to begin his fourth season of college basketball this winter. In the 2024-25 season, he played for the Wofford Terriers in the Southern Conference, where he started all 34 games and averaged 9.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game.
Prior to joining Wofford, Bailey spent two seasons at USC Upstate in the Big South Conference. As a sophomore in 2023-24, he posted averages of 11.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game. Over his college career, Bailey has made 74 starts and appeared in 96 games, averaging 10.6 points per contest with a 43.8% field goal percentage and 36.8% accuracy from beyond the arc.
Bailey may help fill the void left by guard Silas Demary Jr., who transferred to UConn after averaging 13.5 points and 3.1 assists last season. Georgia also saw guard De’Shayne Montgomery and forward RJ Godfrey enter the transfer portal, with Godfrey committing to Clemson.
