Phoenix Stotijn, a guard from Arkansas, has announced her transfer to the Indiana women’s basketball program.
Originally from Amsterdam, Netherlands, the 5-foot-9 guard spent one season with the Razorbacks. She joined the team midway through the 2023-24 season but did not suit up initially.
In the 2024-25 season, Stotijn averaged 7.2 points, 2.2 assists, and 1.5 rebounds in 25.7 minutes per game as a freshman. Arkansas struggled throughout the year, finishing 10-22 overall and 3-14 in SEC play. She started 12 of the 21 games she played under head coach Mike Neighbors, who was let go in March.
Stotijn’s shooting numbers included 31.7% from the field, 26% from three-point range, and 52.4% from the free-throw line. Her top performance came on March 2, when she dropped a season-high 23 points in a win over Texas A&M. She reached double-digit scoring in four games and tallied four or more assists in five.
She still has three years of eligibility left.
International Background
According to her Arkansas Athletics bio, Stotijn has extensive experience with the Netherlands National Team. At the 2023 European Championships with the U18 team, she averaged 15 points, 2 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game while hitting 31.9% from deep. She also scored 27 points in a win over the UK, going 7-for-9 from three in just 20 minutes.

In addition to playing in the FIBA 3×3 U17 Europe Cup—helping the Netherlands to a fourth-place finish—Stotijn also played for the club team Triple Threat in the Netherlands, where she averaged 13.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.6 steals per game across eight games, shooting 41.2%. She also recorded a 24-point, 6-rebound outing against QSTA United.
Stotijn brings international experience and offensive upside to an Indiana squad looking to reload for next season.
