A first-time All-Star last season, Maxey had a breakout year and was named the NBA’s Most Improved Player. This season, he continued to elevate his game, averaging 26.3 points and 6.1 assists per game, an increase of 0.4 points per game from the previous year. While his efficiency dipped, Maxey was often the primary offensive creator for Philadelphia in Embiid’s absence.
Despite this challenging season, the 76ers will likely look to regroup and build for next season, with hopes of returning to playoff contention.
