BREAKING: Auburn Star Johni Broome Big Injury Update Ahead Of Final Four.

The No. 1 seed Auburn Tigers are heading to the Final Four after defeating No. 2 Michigan State 70-64 on Sunday. This marks the first time since 2008 that all four No. 1 seeds have made it to the Final Four. During the second half, Auburn fans held their breath when star player Johni Broome left the game with an injury. Broome later returned with an elbow injury, but it remained a concern for the rest of the game given his importance to the team.

After the game, CBS reporter Tracy Wolfson asked Broome if he would be ready for the Final Four, to which he responded, “I will be, but all glory to God.” Broome was the top scorer of the game, leading both teams with 25 points and 14 rebounds in 29 minutes.

Broome also leads Auburn in points (18.5) and rebounds (10.8) per game, and is tied for first in assists (2.9). Any time missed by Broome would be a significant setback for Auburn, especially at this stage of the season. However, for now, Broome is confident he will be ready to play in the Final Four. Auburn will face No. 1 Florida in an SEC showdown on Saturday, April 5, at 6:09 p.m. ET.
