Arkansas added another key piece to its recruiting class makes the commitment of three-star tight end.
The 6-foot-5, 220-pound prospect saw his recruitment gain momentum in recent months, earning scholarship offers from Arkansas, Kansas State, and Washington State from the Pac-12. He also drew interest from several other programs, including Utah, Utah State, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa State, and Northwestern.
He is a tough, playmaking athlete,” Chanhassen coach Cullen Nelson told Hogs on SI. “He has great ball skills, is physical, and is a willing blocker.”
Nelson also praised his ability to deliver in high-pressure situations. “He makes big plays in key moments, including catching the game-winning touchdown in overtime during the state championship as a sophomore. Even after dislocating his shoulder in the state semifinals, he returned to the game and scored. He’s a great athlete and a true competitor.”
Arkansas head coach Sam Pittman is well-acquainted with Chanhassen High School, the same program that produced former four-star prospect and current Detroit Lions offensive lineman Frank Ragnow. Since 2014, the Storm has sent four players to the FBS level, with another signing with FCS powerhouse South Dakota State last year.
His film highlights his versatility on offense. While primarily a tight end, he has also lined up as an H-back in the backfield and even as a wide receiver on the boundary. Despite his 6-foot-5 frame, he moves deceptively well, making defenders miss and showcasing speed to outrun opposing defenses.

At 220 pounds, Bush is on the lighter side for a tight end but still proves to be a strong blocker across various offensive formations. He isn’t afraid to engage downfield, plays with a fearless mindset, and stays disciplined within his team’s scheme.
Razorbacks tight ends coach Morgan Turner has a strong track record of developing NFL talent, having coached players like Dalton Schultz, Austin Hooper, Zach Ertz, and Coby Fleener. Arkansas recently saw tight end Luke Hasz finish in the top five for receptions and yards in his first two seasons before transferring to Ole Miss following the 2024 season.
With the tight end position evolving into a more hybrid role that demands receiving, blocking, and running ability, Bush’s athleticism fits the modern mold. His background in lacrosse further highlights his above-average conditioning and coordination, skills that go beyond what can be evaluated in football practice.
Bush’s commitment keeps Arkansas ranked No. 11 nationally for the 2026 recruiting class, according to 247Sports’ team composite rankings. He is currently ranked No. 966 overall in the nation, No. 46 among tight ends, and No. 6 in the state of Minnesota.
While Bush still has time to develop before making an impact at the collegiate level, the Razorbacks have already added depth at tight end this offseason with transfers Rohan Jones (Montana), Jaden Platt (Texas A&M), and Jeremiah Beck (JUCO). Each player brings a unique skill set, and having multiple versatile athletes available could be a major asset for offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino’s system.
