BREAKING: Titans Add Under-The-Radar Defender With 21.5 Sacks

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Titans have signed Lorenzo Carter to a one-year contract.

Now in his eighth year in the league and playing for his third team, Carter has built a solid career. Over 96 games with 62 starts, he has amassed 278 tackles, 35 tackles for loss, 58 quarterback hits, and 21.5 sacks. His stats also include two interceptions, one returned for a touchdown, 18 pass deflections, and five forced fumbles.

The newcomer had a rough 2024 campaign

Lorenzo Carter had a rough 2024 campaign, and excluding 2020, he had the worst statistical season, posting career lows in tackles for loss, QB hits, sacks, and pass deflections. Carter recorded 32 tackles, two TFLs, two QB hits, zero sacks, zero pass deflections, and one forced fumble in 13 games and 11 starts, representing 409 (48%) snaps. He missed four games (Weeks 7-10) with a concussion.
