The Minnesota Vikings may have uncertainty at quarterback, but whoever takes over will have a new target in the receiving corps.
The team announced Wednesday evening that wide receiver Rondale Moore has agreed to contract terms with Minnesota. The 24-year-old has not played since the 2023 season.
Moore was originally drafted by the Arizona Cardinals, where he spent the first three years of his career before being traded to the Atlanta Falcons in March 2024 in exchange for quarterback Desmond Ridder. However, a knee injury during training camp sidelined him for the entire 2024 season.
Throughout his brief career, Moore has recorded 182 receptions for 1,201 yards and three touchdowns while also contributing as a return specialist with 22 punt returns and 13 kick returns.
A second-round pick in 2021, Moore is still best remembered for his standout collegiate career at Purdue. The New Albany, Indiana native earned consensus All-American honors as a freshman in 2018, highlighted by his pivotal role in Purdue’s dominant victory over a highly ranked Ohio State team that October.
