The New England Patriots needed a new center after parting ways with longtime franchise anchor David Andrews. Less than a week later, they secured his replacement. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Patriots agreed to a two-year deal worth up to $12 million, with $3.8 million guaranteed, for former Minnesota Vikings center. A first-round pick by the Vikings, he started all 88 games he played in Minnesota before being released following the 2024 season. Within 24 hours, New England finalized an agreement with him.

At 29 years old, he enters his seventh NFL season in 2025, bringing extensive starting experience to the Patriots’ offensive line. However, he struggled in pass protection last season, allowing the most pressures among all centers, per Pro Football Focus.

He also surrendered four sacks, tying for the fifth most at his position, the same number as former Patriots center Ben Brown. Despite these struggles, Bradbury excelled in run blocking, ranking ninth among centers who played at least 50% of the 1,288 snaps in 2024.

The Vikings let him go primarily due to his pass protection issues, but the Patriots, in need of a center, saw value in his experience. His contract, worth up to $12 million, provides New England with a veteran starter at a reasonable cost. Bradbury joins Morgan Moses as the newest additions to the Patriots’ offensive line.
