The Crimson Tide is preparing to host one of the top defensive prospects in the 2026 recruiting class for an official visit in May.
While players returned from spring break, head coach Kalen DeBoer and his staff have remained highly active on the recruiting trail this week.
On Monday, Alabama welcomed 4-star linebacker Nick Abrams II for a campus visit. Less than 24 hours later, they secured another official visit from a different 4-star linebacker.

Brayden Rouse, a standout from Kell, Texas, announced on social media that he will be visiting Tuscaloosa at the end of May.

The 6-foot-3, 210-pound prospect is scheduled to visit from May 30 to June 1. That same weekend, Alabama will also host KJ Ford, Nolan Wilson, and Jonaz Walton.
Rouse is a dynamic defender capable of excelling as both a pass rusher and an off-ball linebacker. He also contributes on offense, posing a deep-threat challenge as a receiver.
During his junior season at Kell High School in 2024, Rouse put up impressive numbers, recording 111 total tackles, 3.5 sacks, and an interception on defense while also catching 30 passes for nearly 400 yards and eight touchdowns on offense.
While he is primarily projected as a linebacker at the college level, his versatility makes him a well-rounded player. He has already taken visits to Tennessee and Georgia and holds offers from several top programs, including Miami, Auburn, and Florida State.
Alabama currently has just three commitments for its 2026 recruiting class but is set to host numerous high-profile prospects throughout the spring and summer. If head coach Kalen DeBoer and his staff can capitalize on these visits, the Crimson Tide should once again find itself among the top-ranked recruiting classes.
